I need the part number for the shaft retainer plate for the XJ 44. I have some new shafts and I need to get a set for them. None of my parts lists date back past '91, so I got nothin'.

My '91-'93 parts list doesn't mention a 44 for a Cherokee. Weird.
EDIT: Are you sure it's not called a "bearing retainer plate"?

DJ, get yourself a set of the 'notched' aftermarket removeable retaining plates. There was a thread discussing them a while back -or- just PM Remi, he knows where to get 'em.

Umm... yeah.

Not sure what you're getting at, but my 1991-1993 Parts Catalog is for all models of Jeeps and a Dana 44 for a Cherokee isn't listed. At any rate, I hope you find what you need.

I get the same P/N as OLAK: 8350 4190, listed for 87-90 Jeep in section for Dana 44/Cherokee.

that's because the D44 wasn't an option on XJ's between 91 and 93
