front washer motor location??

Hello...anyone know the location of the front washer motor/ pump on 2000 XJ ?? also are the front and rear washer motors/pumps the same?? if my front washer motor is shot can I just switch the hoses??? Thanx......Scott

There are a couple of threads on this already. In a nutshell, it's under your drivers side front fender, you need to REMOVE the plastic wheel well liner and both pumps are right there. They are about $14 ea, might as well do both while you have it apart. Remove the liner and set it aside, makes life easier.
