FSJ Wagoneer Trail Worthiness

I've got an oppurtunity coming up to get a 1978 FSJ Wagoneer. It is in good conidtion and the guy says he wants $800 obo, which I think is great. My only concern is that a full size will be too big for the trail and I will not be able to do everything that one can with an XJ.

I'm looking for all of ya'lls wisdom so give it to me.

I say go for it. I love the FSJs. Put a 6" lift and some 35s and some gears, and you got a pretty awesome looking rig, that is fairly capable offroad.
