mechanic jobs around cumming/alpharetta/buford GA

anybody know of any? i got laid off yesterday after a year of working at a 4x4 shop in cumming, and i've spent 2 days straight looking for jobs. must've stopped in at 30 places... i guess right now isn't the best time to be needing a job, but the situation is quickly going from unfortunate to desparate. anybody know of someone who may hiring? i appreciate any responses!

i'm not from the area... but you might check 4wheelparts on bufford highway...
that's all i know of. (usually stop in when i'm in north atlanta)

thanks... i've checked so many places, i'm starting to think that i may have to pursue other things. sucky thing, after buying upwards of $25,000 worth of tools.

this may be out of your area, but there are ALOT of autozones and such all along roswell road and continuing up alpharetta highway. I don't know if they're hiring or not, but it's worth a try.

I'm from the Roswell/Alpharetta area and I know of a good little shop called America's Best Automotive on Alpharettat highway just a little down the street from the Ferrari dealership. They do the alignments and brakes and tires for the Ferrari dealership but the owner Dean is a nice guy and if he needs another guy he would probably hire you. Also even though I am not a big fan of the place Southern Off-road up off exit 12 on 400 may hire ya. hope that helps.

thanks guys, yeah i do have tire/brake/suspension experience... i'll check 'em out. and yeah, southern off-road basically sucks.

both, at one point... PORC just laid everyone off a couple of weeks ago.
