High temp RTV

Is there an RTV product that would be suitable for high temp exhaust applications? I need to seal up a flange at the catalytic converter... very hot area. My exhaust gasket isn't sealing up so well (mix and matched manufacturers) and I need to seal it with something.

Any helps would be appreciated.

Yes, go to Shucks or NAPA and ask for exhaust sealer. Its not exactly RTV, but it is a glue that you apply and let dry. It will seal up your holes and cracks...

X2, I use it on my Porsche's exhaust. Works great to eliminate leaks!!

they make a exhaust sealer just for that purpose any good parts store should have it. just dont get the stuff for patching mufflers it wont last long
