Woah! Never had it before. I had some papers to write. So I drank some Colombian blend, and I never realized how little we do, we can time manage so much better with coffee, sleeping feels like such a long time, how much could we accomplish without sleep? Just a strange thought? I'm so awake!

No hahaha I was beat from a weekend of wheelin and what not, I just never liked the taste of coffee before. I always prefered tea, it's really nice, I see that there are two posts and I realize these posts are a waste of time, can a moderator delete them, I'drather use my time in better stuff, so ignore these or tell me how to delete them...oh please and thank you.

ive drank coffee one time and i puked. I was on deck watch way in the middle of the ocean on a fishing boat. tried it and it did not settle with me at all.. nasty stuff

I take it black and I think too many years of drinking it on the mid watch has caused it to have werid effects on me. I alomost need it in the morning, however I can drink it all the way till I go to sleep with no ill effects what-so-ever...guess I am a freak. My local favorites are from ravens brew, but I also like the ginsing coffee my dad gave me from indonesia. It is instant coffee and added to a cup of black coffee and you are geeking the morning away!!! I LOVE IT but it does have alot of sugar. Oh another one is take half a packet of coco and mix it with about a cup of coffee, that was always good for the 0400-0800 watch.

It will wear off and you'll get used to it.

For the long term, buy a smaller coffee pot.

I drink one cup a day at 6am, every day. Can't wake up without it and I'm in a bad mood all day if I don't get my caffeine fix early! I was drinking two cups but I suffer from insomnia as well so my Dr cut me back to one. I sleep much better now:dunno:

Just a strange thought? I'm so awake!Keep it up. Drink lots! Just wait. after a while, one cup will just about hold your eyes open. Then it's 2 cups in the morning just to get moving.
When you have a splitting headache and can't figure out why, then realize you forgot your coffee this morning, you're in. It's called a caffeine headache, and it's a sign of caffeine withdraw. So much fun!

I'm only 20 and coffee doesn't even phase me any more. I can drink an entire pot and go to bed or if I drink a lot in the morning It doesn't have the kick in the ass power you virgin coffee drinkers experience.

When I really need to stay awake I'll buy a few bottles (4 to 8) of BAWLS, they make it in root beer "G33K B33R" now, its awesome, and it will probably get me through the night and most of the next day.

Daughter works at Starbucks so we get 1-2 lbs of fresh coffee beans a week as a bennie. Add in my burr grinder and I'm all set to go, I drink two pots a day myself :D :D :D
