Installing Gears Need Help!!!

Well today I began installing my 4.10 gears, I just checked my front D30 pinion with the one I bought from yukon and the yukon pinion is longer by about 1 1/2 to 2 inches :scared: Why is that? Is it the wrong pinion or is that the way it should be? Please Help guys...

Have you contacted Yukon to confirm the P/N for your application? Don't go buy what's on the box alone, check the number on the ring gear.

Almost sounds like it is a low pinion d30 that you have. The longer Yukon one would be for a high pinion.

Check to see if it has reverse cut teeth and compare it to yours, which I suspect are standard cut.

Randy's set me the same thing. There should be an R after the part number. Im sure they sent you the standard and not reverse.

Yeah talked to them and in fact they sent me standrd cut and no reverse cut got that fix...thanks for the help guys...
