rear drive shaft

well im almost ready to do the 4wd swap. but i need to know what i should do about my rear drive shaft. get a new one, or have mine shortened?

ive got a 1989 2wd comanche. and im putting an Aw4, with np231 in it.

Just visit your local junk yard and get one for $20. Or, get a front one and do your own hack and tap SYE.

Except it'll be WAY short on an MJ.

You'll be fine keeping the slip yoke, either find a shaft IF you can, or just have yours shortened, but the classy thing to do would be get a fixed yoke kit for the t-case and have a driveline made.
