As the title says, when do you need to get rid of the stock trackbar on an '88 XJ?

I got away with leaving the stock bar at 2" , rode on 3" for a while without and finally broke down and bought one. Im turning was limited one way because the axle was over so far. really needed at 4.5"

if you want flex then with any lift. (the tie rod end will only drop so much before binding)
I think you can get away with 3" or 4.5" of lift but your getting the short end of the stick if you go over 2" i think with out getting a new track back. You also will be dog walking (the front axle will be shifted to the left the more you lift your jeep)

well u can use a track bar bracket at 3 or so and at over 4 u need to go adjustable...

With a 4" lift mine is off 3/4".. Thinking of redrilling hole to fix for now..Waiting to see if i have any money after all the crap i got for her jeep...
