My transmission shifter goes from 1st to drive. I can't select 2nd gear. Does anybody know how to modify the tranny or if there is a kit that will allow you to use second gear with out being in Drive or over Drive

There are plenty of writeups on this do a search, as I cant remember off hand. Its nothing more than minor electrical work on your TCU.

TCU..Does anybody know where the above part is on an 1999 jeep Cherokee.
