Yes, As much as I would love to laugh at him to his face, I think I'm finally coming to the realization that he's going to take home the gold.

I wouldn't really call it "gold" - it's more of a polished turd....

Yep time to get pissed off for 4 years. The party can't last forever. I sure hope he doesn't have an attempt made on his life. I kind of figured it would have happened by now though.

People have hated bush for 8 years, I hated clinton for 8 years, so I guess it's my turn again.

Maybe we'll get lucky though. I should would like to see those liberals really pissed off that they tried SOOO hard and people were just too smart to buy it.

It's not that Obama is any good, he's just the democratic canidate and come hell or high water they want him in.

It's possible that McCain could win handily. Republicans are more motivated than the pollsters realize, partly because the media's efforts to annoint The One have pissed them off. Likewise, if the Democrats think that it's in the bag (which they have been led to believe) then they won't turn out to the polls with the same intensity. Ultimately I think it will be decided by the youth vote turnout, or the lack thereof. The youth vote never shows up on election day, although they did vote in record numbers during the primary, so it could go either way, and it will likely determine the election.

My opinion, however, is that all of the polls can't be wrong, and that Obama will almost certainly win on the popular vote and probably win on the electoral vote too.

Hopefully the Republicans will maintain 40+ seats in the senate, otherwise we'll have to depend on SCOTUS as a firewall.

I visit so many different places, most of which don't care about the language. Those who do, filter. I figure if it's bad enough, someone will enact a filter instead of manually feeling better about it. :D Sorry, I let one slip every so often. :shhh:

Keep an eye on that. Two days ago Obama was at a Solid 259. Now he is only at 228, and the Tie has more than doubled.
