I've located a used Aussie Locker for the dana 30. They guys asking 150 for it. When I look at it what should I check for? Are there things that could be worn, like the pins or springs? And is $150 good for a used one? New they want $240 plus shipping.

I believe you can get a rebuild kit for them (new springs and pins) so I would mostly check for wear on the teeth as well as were the crosspin goes through (could get oblonged?).

oblonged pin holes, chipped teeth. Chipped teeth tiny chip, give him 75$ a few chips, walk away.Some say any chip, leave it. I say break it

I bought my used one for $180 shipped on ebay, and haven't had a problem with it.

Im pretty sure you can get them for $200 shipped on Pirate (new). You might want to check that out in the Vendors section.
