How do you read an ohm meter?

The settings usually indicate the upper range of the reading. If you set it on 2K, it will read ohms directly up to 2,000 ohms. On the lower settings, digital meters will usually display one or two digits to the right of the decimal, but don't at higher settings.

For the first three higher temp readings the meter should be on the 2K setting, which is for 2000 OHMs or less. You can use the higher settings but it may not be as acurate and you are going to get more to the right of the decimal point.
If you get a little better quality DVM like a Fluke 77, there are only two OHM settings. One with an audible alarm (Diode) and one without.
