THAT SHOW FRIGGIN ROCKED!
Just got back from Vancouver after some serious rocking with about 64999 other fans.
If they come your way, go see the show. The electronic support show alone was worth the dough to get in. I'm not a huge fan, but man were they tight. They played classics and new materials and did a 25 minute encore jam with Omar Rodriguez-Lopez from Mars Volta guesting.
As soon as they took the stage, about 50000 joints were simultaneously lit. I was high as a kite on second-hand.
Watching Flea was like attending a master-class in bass.
Sweet show...

I say the Peppers in 92, they put on one hell of a show. Along with Soundgarden that place was rock'n.

Technically, its General Motors Place now, but yes...Saw the Who there years ago on their retirement tour.
I can also relete to the doobage comment. I tell you, Vancouver PD are the coolest! At least when I was there they were. http://www.timbercrawler.com/bb/images/smiles/beer2.gif http://www.timbercrawler.com/bb/images/smiles/smoke.gif:wierd:

The doobage was nutty, but nothing compared to the security. There must have been 500 security guards not even counting all the cops. Every stairwell on all levels, all around the stage and floor, and all throughout the galleries outside of the stadium itself. I saw quite a few people ejected for doing one dumbass thing or another. At the same time, it was a mellow crowd...

Last night's show included none of their really old stuff. Just from Blood Sugar Sex Magik onward. I kinda wish they had played some really old stuff, but apparently Frusciantes doesn't like his old playing style...
It wasn't torture Doc, I withstood it well... :D

Sounds like you already know this Gavin but Muse will not disiapoint you. I've seen them twice now in smaller venues.
Another great live show is the Killers, seen them twice. Once here at a decent show (but wasn't the right crowd for them) and once in London at a fantastic show.
