Cable X adapter - any experience with this?

I plan to swap a 241or transfer case in my ´90 XJ. The XJ has a mechanical driven speedometer, whereas the 241 give an electronic impulse instead of a mechanical signal.

Does anybody has any experience with this unit? Does it work as advertised? Any issues? Worth the money?
