I'm looking for an XM reciever I can use in my heep and then take into work to use. I know virtually nothing about them, its never interested me until recently.

If I buy a unit from BB or a big box store like Target, can I activate my subscription at that store? I'd rather just pay it all off at once to avoid monthly payments.

That said, is there a device that anyone can recommend that is easy to use and program? I don't like a lot of bells and whistles.

i like my nexus, it's a mp3 player when not docked and it will also record off of xm. You can activate it online as soon as you get it home, you can pay for a year upfront.
