I am selling my fully customized 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I am in the Marines and am moving to a place where I cannot take it so it is for sale. It has been built for rock crawling and has been used for daily driving use as well as competitions and general trail use. It has a current VA State inspection and licenced for road use. VERY custom set up and is a blast to drive! This Jeep will take you ANYWHERE and will do so in style! I will be selling the Jeep for cash but will entertain trade of a motorcycle plus cash.

I will make every effort to assist in the delivery of the Jeep and if the final sale price is above $14,000, I will personally deliver the Jeep anywhere within the continental U.S. for no additional cost. I know, I'm just done with this Jeep. I never get out enough to wheel it and I really don't want to take it to Hawaii and let it sit there for a year while I'm deployed so it can rust all to hell. I wouldn't mind keeping it, but if I did, I wouldn't be able to keep it road legal, I just have too many ideas for it.

IF you're referring to his hydro setup... it's perfectly safe maybe a little different at high speeds but I think he has set it up well..

You've been misled. Depending on your state laws, legality may be an issue, but by no means is it unsafe. As Chris pointed out, full hydro steering is a little different than you might be used to at highway speeds, but I think that it is perfectly safe for road use. Thanks for the props Chris. Yes, no cut corners here, as I this is my DD.

side note: i thought i had heard somewhere that the full hydro was a DOT issue, and not legal in any states? that you needed some sort of actual steering linkage or something along those lines? feel free to correct me, jw what the exact requirements are and whatnot...

I'm moving to Hawaii in January and then deploying soon after so I don't see the need to pay to ship it out there and then let it sit. I'd rather take the cash and use it else where.

I about to store it for a LONG while. If I can't sell it in the next 15 days, I'm shit outta luck and will end up having to keep it. So if you ever want to "see" it, it'll be parked in the middle of nowhere with the keys somewhere near by and with full coverage insurance with a VERY low deductable....lol. The best I can hope for now is that USAA will cover everything I've added to the Jeep and when I'm deployed, my brother will sneak it out and totally roll it or catch it on fire or something. Sigh, I figured it'da sold by now.

Timing is everything....3-4 years ago I paid 12k for my XJ stock with 80k on it....Obviously, yours would have been more desirable....and still is, but no longer got the dough.

I don't understand what you mean by limitations with them......it works fine on the street and allows balanced flex off road. That's the major benefit of the sway bar. Ungodly amounts of flex are cool but mostly unpractical if you don't have a balanced suspension. The sway bar will even out the flex front to back. Currie doesn't make an XJ kit, its just the universal kit. Weld it where I've got it and it works pretty well. I thought about sinking it into the frame, but this was so much faster and easier.

I built the coilovers. There is yet to be an XJ specific coilover kit, so if you're gonna do it, you've got to think it up and do it yourself. The master cylinder? Its in the stock location. Some of the pictures are from the build to show the brace a bit better.

i know you sold your jeep already, but if your still looking for a bike i have an 07 R6 in graphite grey. its got a jardine GP1 exhaust, race railz frame sliders, and a rear fender eliminator kit with the integrated tail light. bike has a little over 3k on it. reason for selling is because i want to get a cheap stunt bike.

I've got another lifted Jeep I'm selling.... interested in an XJ, 33's, Rusty's 6" kit, 2001, 4 door, blue, with 30/35 with a Rubicon 44 front (no knuckles so you can use the D30's knuckles) 4.10's and an 8.8 disc brakes 4.10's to go along with the Jeep. Haven't posted it yet, but I'm about to sell it. Its in VA and I'm in HI, so progress in selling it is going slow.
