Engine Swap

Okay...have a line on a motor to swap into my 88..problem is I am going to need some help with it. What I need to know is who might be willing to help me out with this project?

Depending on the day, I may be able to help. I've got some tools, but no experience with swappin motors. I could bring my 5 year old, and his Chuck E Cheez tool kit...He always pulls that out when I'm wrenching...he loves to help out!:viking:

Kudzu what part of Alabama ? I have done an engine swap on a xj a few times. Are you going back with the same year model engine? Ifnot you might have to use the manifold and possibly the intake off the old engine as they made some changes from 88-92 I believe. I can help out if needed.
