Azusa Get Together/run on Sunday September 24, 2006
We will meet at 10:30 am ( a little earlier this time) at the Jack in the Box off Azusa @ 210 FWY
Depart at 11am (to get a better spot to set up and have a yummy BBQ)

Let me know if you all want to BBQ again…depending on the number of people, we can work it out…but it is getting expensive!!

If you don't BBQ I will probably bring a Propane grill and do some dogs and sausages.

So...1 XJ, 1 Zuki, 4 people, 1 BBQ, and a whole bunch of fun.

JohnX plus one only....I just got back from a Suzuki rollover...My brothers rig is thrashed and he won't be making it. I'll post some pictures in the tommorrow after work when its light out.

We had a good time last time. Depending if I have to work or not, me and the ball and chain might bring a couple of friends along and my GF's kid will probably drive out in his (gasp!) Tacoma with a buddy so.....six of us (two vehicles) if it happens, I'll post up tomorrow or Friday to confirm. I'll donate some $ towards the BBQ if you guys decide to go that route again-------Hans

ok I had a set back today......my track bar bracket broke and busted the top bolts off in the frame as well. as long as I can get it fixed tonight im there on time if not ill be a little late. Time to burn some steel :)

ok its welded on and semi bolted back on (good thing I have a few parts jeeps :) ) could only get one broken bolt out of the frame so the other became part of it and I plug weled it and ran some beads along the top and one side. Im hoping it holds till i can get it to my work and weld it right

I have a Big bear run planned for Oct 21st. You guys should come up with us. We have at lest 7 vehicles confirmed right now. Once folks return from Moab, I am sure they will post up and join as well.

not a bad idea except there are a few stockers who we dont wanna leave out. nice part about cleghorn is the whole thing is doable in a golf cart and the fun stuff is all optional. but if people wana do bb or whatever im still in.

Tony, there isnt a pic nic area on the trail that I can remember but lake silverwood is close enough that we can run the fun stuff for a while in the area then break in silverwood for lunch and then continue to play if people still wanna.

There will be enough folks to run a couple of different groups. There are trails for stockers, newbies, and built rigs....

Being that when I was stock I got left out of the 2 big bear events I went to because there was only one other stocker or I was alone, Im very inclined to make sure the event is planned around thier abilities first. as for a event for doing trails that are in the harder spectrum if thats what its planned to be then thats what it is, but the azusa M&G has always been open to any vehicle even the non jeep and I like that. Its also made it comfortable for us to bring our wifes and not scare the piss out of them.
