I thought is was pretty cool till I read that he only gets about 30 miles per charge. Waste of freaking time and money- I also noticed that he hasn't posted his energy cost per mile. Hmmmm.

I like how everyone thinks electric vehicles are "emissions free", but what they don't realize is that it's just deferred emissions. Where do you think the power comes from??? Sure we have nuclear, solar, hydro, and wind power...but most of it comes from coal powered fossil plants roughly 85% actually. Plus what the hell do you do with all of those batteries once they're dead??? Chunk em a land fill I guess. I just don't see the advantages.

electricity generation is more efficient than a 4.0.
I do agree with the battery problem.
An electric motor would be kick ass for wheeling. 30 miles of range would be enough for a trail toy, and never stalling the motor or worrying about fluids and oil pressure would be awesome.
Not to mention 250 Lb Ft of torque at 1 RPM :)
