when to use shims?

so tomorrow im planning on installing my rear leafs with shakels and shocks for my 6 in lift.

how do i know if i need to use shims? and how do i figureo ut what size shim i need?

Use shims whenever you change the suspension height or slipyoke from stock. Other than that, refer to Post #2.
