trackbar bolt

i was wondering if anyone knows the size of the bolt thats on the trackbar? i need to replace the one i have cause supposedly its too small- so it sounds like the previous owner had an alignment done, shop lost the bolt and threw in a crap replacement. should i order it at the dealer, they want $9 for it or can i pick it up at the hardware store?

That is one hard flippin' bolt. I couldn't find one at the hardware that was hard enough.

I've had a good quality hardware store bolt in mine for a couple of years. I think it's 11mm fine thread, but I'm not sure. It's worked fine.

M10x11.5x75 I think. I got mine at home depot with a locknut. Works great!

yea ill end up ordering mine t the dealer today... no point running all over for the damn thing.

I'd rather spend 50 cents at home depot than $10 at the dealer. That's just me though!

what you will save in the bolt, you will spend in gas trying to find a suitable replacment

Home Depot is the *LAST* place I'll buy critical fasteners.

I totally agree, Spend your money on the correct hardware, It drives me crazy to see all kinds of money spent on great suspension, and its put together with crap hardware.

if i get stuff from home depot it is grade 8 - nothing less - plus i am a sucker for zinc coatings...

I've got zinc coated grade 8 from home depot, works beautifully. Had it on through some tough stuff, not a problem. I think it's probably just as durable as the OEM bolt.
