My wife's 2000 classic has weak air flow coming out of all the AC vents.
I suspect paper may have been sucked into the recirculation vent from the overstuffed glovebox. Massive headache! Until recently we could hear a "whizzing" noise under the dash, as if something was touching the squirrel cage. The noise has stopped, but the airflow is still weak.
As of late I've already replaced the blower motor resistor pack, with no change. I cleaned the electrical connector at the motor, the plug was not melted, and there's no bearing noise from the blower motor.
So how do I go after the cause of the weak airflow? I figured I'd unbolt the blower motor, and unmount the condensor to make room. How far can I reach into the plenum?
