you mean the one up front?
It's not an engine skid, it's for your steering.
It mounts using some studs that screw into the frame rails and then nuts that secure it up there. Just fit it to the bottom, you'll see how it goes and get yourself some hardware.
Never seize the hell out of it, you will have to remove it eventually to work on front end stuff, and it sucks when it's stuck.

Metric bolts on the frame ends, the nuts are inside the frame already.
