XJ Turbo Diesels - Which Axles?

Does anybody know which rear axle was fitted in the late model (say 97+) export 2.5TD's. For sure those with ABS would have had the D35 but anyone know for sure about the non-ABS vehicles?

you should have the Chrysler 8.25... it's easy to identify via its flat bottom edge, parallel with the ground.

IRC, the only rear axles in a stock XJ were the Dana 35, Chysler 8.25 and Dana 44. the late models only had a D35 or C8.25
