D35 shafts with 33's?

How likely is it that I will break an axle shaft if I go wheeling with that setup? I am getting ready to sell my Jeep so I took the D44 out but I am REALLY itching to go drive again... It wouldn't be anything too intense really... Mostly gravel forest service roads. But there are a few little side trails I would love to go through... But still, nothing to hard. So how about it? Are the tires too big for the stock shafts?

You should be okay if you're super gentle with it. Avoid binding up one side or hopping the rear axle.

P.S. If you're open, it shouldn't be too bad, but if you're locked you face a better chance of breaking something.

I did not start having issues running 35's until I locked up both differentials. Matt is absolutely correct about being gentle.
