I have been trying to find a source for some extended stainless steel brake lines. I currently have a set of older skyjackers for a 6-8" lift. I recently had a problem where one of the front lines was stressed more than i would have liked and i'm not confident of the integrity of the line nowi feel that it could brake at the caliper at any time. I have made a few phone calls to places like 4wheel parts and what was mepco 4x4 all of them have told me that they don't sell the lines anymore because they are not DOT approved.

Can anyone tell me where i can get a set locally in the SLC area if at all? Im kinda in a time crunch.

TIA

There is a place on 94000 south and State Street that is a 4x4 shop, I have never been there but its looks more like a local guy who might have SS lines and not care about the whole DOT approved.

There is a place called Advanced 4-wheel drive (they specialize in 2-wheel to 4-wheel conversions I think) they are around 1300 south and 700 south around Main... (Trax goes by it on the main Sandy to Downtown line)

were all have you looked so we don’t recommend those places...
