i ordered a new csf radiator. so we just started to change it out and we cant seperate the a/c cond. frome the radiator. there are i dont know exactly what there called but nails going threw the radi. cond. and tranny cooler. it looks like thats all thats supporting them. ii dont know how to get them out.
im also having trouble removing the tranny cooler line from the radi.

PLEASE HELP!!!! its my DD

Well not much help, but I changed mine twice in the last 4 months.

Mine came right out. Well now that I think about it, the original radiator was changed by a radiator shop in 2000. Maybe they removed what you are talking about. My 1998 didn't have anything holding the trans cooler, condenser, and radiator together.

just cut them. get new ones at NAPA, part number 1-4829 should run you about 6$ a set. you will need one set for the condensor, and one for the trans cooler.

what about the quick disconnect from the tranny to the rad. how do i remove it?

I bought a fuel line disconnect set. About 7 of them in a set various sizes.

It's the hardest part of getting the radiator out, for me.
