Was greating all my fittings today and my 89 is in bad need of new tie rods and ball joints, ball joints arnt bad but they will be, most the rubber boots on the tie rods leak grease when i filled them. So they need replaced. its like 35 bucks for the long part and like 20 for the short parts.

my point is that i can replace everything for cheap, but would i be better off upgrading my system? Eventually id like to go up more then just the 3in lift i have now. But thats down the list a bit.

Fixing the possably unrelyable steering is major since this is my dd.

So, should i spend the extra cash and upgrade my steering to accomidate the future 6in lift? or do i keep it low cost and replace the worn parts.

Pros? Cons?

Thanks

Ed
