I don't know about you guys, but I never get sick of these. Brought this home today, and it's been a while, so I thought I'd start a new one. Sig Pro 2022 - 9mm. Just pistols, don't need to see your whole arsenal........;)

I'm considering a glock 23. Would you recommend it?

Great pistol, but If you're wanting to carry concealed the Glock 27 is better (that's what I got). Otherwise, the Glock 22 is a better target pistol.

I conceal a fullsize 1911 without problems. It's all about the carry rig and what you're comfortable carrying/shooting.

Oh yeah...

I traded my double stacked ruger for a 1911 because my love handles got in the way. I don't think "really skinny" is a concealed carry problem, like he said, you just need to find a good carry rig.

You also have to give yourself more than just a 'fit test' to make it work for you. It's completely unnatural to carry a hidden tool that has a couple pounds in it, so you've got to give yourself at least a week of constant wear to get used to it.

A Ruger P89DC seems to do everything I ask of it.

I've shot a number of brands and caliber of pistol, but nothing was this dependable, or this accurate for what I had to spend.

Sorry, no img, but the piece is this one http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdView?model=3042&return=Y

Dood..... That gives me wood!

Seriously - you and I need to schedule an afternoon at a range - I would love to try that new gen Sig out - I just wish it was a .40 cal. You know I'm looking to retire my P226 and those new Sig pros are teh sexy! :looney:

The Springfield XD would be my next choice, but even those are a bit to Glock-like.

Fire a XD next to the Glock and you will notice the XD is not too "Glock like." I carry an XD .40 without the thumb safety, and after taxes I am buying an XDm.
I'd post a pick but someone else already beat me to it. There's a XD on the first page.

Beretta 92FS (9mm, 15+1) 2 mags, total of 45 rounds shown here.
First handgun, now I wish it was a 96 :( Sweet shooting gun. Its like shooting a water gun.

http://muckleroy.com/images/handguns_g27.jpg
Glock 27 (40 cal, 10+1) Fobus holster, extra mag and Surefire 6P tactile flashlight. Twists and kicks, short hard to aim compared to the Beretta.

http://muckleroy.com/images/handguns_pt140.jpg
Taurus Millennium Pro PT-140 (40 cal, 10+1) Fobus holster, extra mag. Twists and kicks, but less than the Glock.

http://muckleroy.com/images/handguns.jpg
Group shot

Next handgun will be a Glock 22, full frame 40 cal.

That has nothing to do with it. I know someone that's as skinny as a rail and he carries a government frame on him and you can't see it.
