you better make darm sure you arent trespassing on anyone private land. power lines in Ma are as a rule-of-thumb, NOT the property of the utility company. they only have a right-of-way across private and public land. thats why the towers all have "PRIVATE PROPERTY" signs on them. so if you are wheeling anywhere thats NOT on a towm street map you are likely trespassing. you may not get hassled or ticketed but it doesnt make it right. there are lots of places in your county that are legal and it would benefit you and the rest of the wheeling public if everyone did a litle research at their town hall for places they can and can't go wheeling. you'd be suprised how much information the tax offices and highway departments will share with you. i can go on for along time about this and i'm not trying to scold you.. just pointing out some facts that alot of wheelers should know and often ignore.
i can help you out and point you in the right direction thru PMs if you want.

yeah, depends on the right-of way- i do work on the rights of way, land clearing and such, and have learned some is private, other is utility owned, depends, around here the private land is usually marked with signs such as"no hunting trespassing, no atvs'4x4 vehicles", while the utility prop. is usually marked no hunting fishing trapping, and theres usually a pretty decent trail, private land tends to have jack diddly for trails, or theres a chain and or gate on it, i stay out ware/palmer area mostly, belchertown dosnt have much for trucks, mainly quads, and i have one of those, so i see no point in jamming the jeep in a trail meant for an atv, theres places such as coy hill in ware where wheeling is allowed, just follow the general rule of not making your own trail and crap and no one complains...foxwar, pm me when your coming out, a couple of us are lifting my buddys grand cherokee sat morning then wheeling/testing by his house in palmer sat afternoon if you want in let me know and ill tell you where and what time...
