i just bought this fan clutch from napa, and of course it does not fit. it doesnt sit the fan far enough towards the radiator, and the fan rubs the belt pulley.

96 was somewhat of a change over year, you may need a 97 clutch.
Never mind same one anyway

On my '88 I ran into problems with finding an aftermarket fan clutch that fit correctly. I ended up with an Imperial (pn 215148). If I had it to do over again I think I would go with the dealer, esp if it was my DD. Good Luck.
