What route do you guys in the Pueblo use to get to Moab?


Cause it's just like I'm in Pueblo other than the 250 miles east....

From Colorado Springs I've gone both Hwy 50 and I70. I70 is much faster.

Hwy 50 is shorter distance-wise but takes an hour longer than I-70.Also, HWY 50 has 3 major climbs - Monarch Pass, Blue Mesa Summit, and Cerro Summit whereas I-70 has only Vail Pass.

When you guys say I70 is faster, are you talking about taking I25 through Denver or Rt24 across to Buena Vista and then up? I'd guess either way that from my location it makes the most sense to continue up Rt24.

I'm talking about I-25 -> C470 -> I-70.
