ive got a 96 jeep cherokee manual transmission. when i bought the jeep it had the cluster that did not include the tachometer, so i went to the junk yard and pulled a cluster that did. i knew the oil pressure gage was not going to work but the tempeture gage doesnt work either, do i need a different type of sensor?

Yes, you need to replace both senders. When you look on Kragen's or Autozone's websites, there are two different ones. One for "LIGHTS ONLY" and one for "GAUGES".
