Seat warmer not working

I just bought a 2000 Cherokee Limited and everything works fine except the driver side seat warmer. The passenger side works just fine but when I try to turn the drivers side on, all that happens is a blinking light instead of a constant light like the passenger side.I didnt have heated seats in my last XJ and was wondering if anyone knew what my problem was.

I'd try and figure out what the blinking light means, could tell you if its an electrical problem or if something needs replacing.
