Any info on the police package?

Just wondering if anyone know's anything special about the police packages. The Jeep feels faster, but I don't know if it's all in my head.

Uhhhh, lets see.....all the below is from my knowledge of my 96.


120 amp alt. on some.(mine had been replaced with a 90A)
mini console on some, I swapped it out for a full console
rubber floor
Lots of extra wires that lead to nowhere
Claim to have HD cooling package. What the difference between HD and the regular is unknown by me.
certified speedo(at least until you go bigger tires or regear:D)
Most I've seen have the bigger drums in the rear(10")
Extended idle switch
ECM is different from a normal XJ. speed shut off and ext idle won't work with a normal ECM.
Guage cluster will have no tach and a massive gas guage in it's place. Other guages(alt. oil pressure and water temp) are present.
That's all I can remember off the top of my head. I'm sure there is more.

You could probably count, but at your age you would probably figure what your counting by the time your done...

I've had to learn to count by feel ... and count real fast.
