If my rig is back together by then...I'm in.
Maybe lyle will have his rig together then too, and be able to give her a run?

I should have my stuff put together by then. We'll see what the coming weeks bring. After the main install of the lift and axles, I need to get a SYE and driveshaft fitted. Depends on when that gets finished up.

He hasn't even touched his Jeep yet as far as modding!
And when I last spoke to him he said he's waiting on the locker.

I'm telling you dude...if you want to wheel this thing...order your armor now. Like I said in the past, sliders, bumper, ect. take at least a month in most cases.
But, I will say I can't wait to see that thing with some lift and dents! :yelclap:

Lyle for the most part you do not need sliders in the winter around here. Most people run deep snow and few trails, I would say wait till march to get bumpers and sliders and get a locker for the snow. If you value your jeep you probably wont be hitting the trails till spring time.

Thats pretty much what I was thinking. Winter is just around the corner, so Im most likely going to wait till spring for sliders. Gonna get towing means and call it good for now. Im pretty sure untouched snow isnt going to crush my rockers :wierd:.
-Lyle
P.S. I cant wait either to get my stuff bolted up. Been catching looks from my kit everytime I go downstairs. Saturday and Sunday of next week is the plan.

Going to try to make it. Won't be in Moab unless I win that red cherokee :rof:
As to ordering armor in the spring... just be prepared for realllyyyy long lead times on your order. Waited a month and half from AJ's and then decided I couldn't wait that long and had to wait a little over another month for the sliders and bumper from JCR. Started the whole process in March got my bumper the 3rd of June. Deffinitly worth the wait but seemed like forever when I was waiting.

If I have tow points and some skids by then Im more than likely in. Got all my stuff installed this past weekend, but thats for a different thread when I get pics up. From what I hear though, Reiter can be brutal to your rockers, and Im slider-less currently. Any thoughts?

I have about a 75% chance of making it to this cleanup run. This will be my first run with NAXJA people. I was at Reiter all day last Saturday and did just fine. I smacked my front diff cover and bent a spring clip but that's all. BTW, there were lots of puddles but no mud yet.
Do you have a meeting time and place determined yet?

Ya sounds good. I dont want to puss out but Id rather keep the rig straight till I have some armor I KNOW will take the hits. Word from my rentals is Im getting mostly money for my b-day, so Ill put that toward some armor, most likely sliders.
-Lyle
P.S. Im putting my status at 50/50 because I have homecoming the night before(sat.), and am not sure how much fun getting to bed at 2, up at 7 would be :D

It's super easy to find. My first time out I was scared too, but its litterally go along highway 2 until you see Reiter RD (Look it up on mapquest, you'd know real quick if you missed it) then you keep driving up on the road until you see a large parking lot that will likely be full of trailers and rigs on the left.

Yes. But I won't be wheeling for a bit.
My wife and I are buying a house right now. I'm taking care of the loose ends before we close on the place. I also have to fix her jeep and my truck before she will let me fix my jeep.
Won't be long. I plan on being back in the TJ by the end of the month. I just needs a new rear driveshaft, two new batteries, and oil change, and some other preventative maintenance.
Not a biggie, just not a lot of time right now.

Just wanted to note that after you turn left onto Reiter Rd. the road will split at a "Y" intersection, take the right hand fork and you will eventually come to a gravel area where you can park on your left hand side. It will be easy to tell by the huge number of tow rigs parked there.
