One of the coil spring perches on my 88 MJ is rotten, and I'm getting some intermittent death wobble. No fun. If I'm going to swap in a new d30, how far into the 90's could I go without much trouble? Can I use an ABS setup and not hook it up? Any change in the yoke or 4wd actuator that I should be aware of? Ideally, I'd like to find something as late model as possible, so that I don't have to deal with excessive ball joint wear, etc.

Thanks!

IIRC up until 2000 all XJ/MJ D30's were the same except for vac. disconnect. In 2000 they went from high to low pinion D30 which some find not to be as deseriable as the HP.
