I am just wondering where I can get a set of these for the new MJ I am getting next Monday? Anybody know of anywhere? Quadratec use to carry them but they do not anymore. I tried EBay because I saw them on there once but cannot find any. Just looking for them before I go pick it up so I have both lenses on it before the trip home. Thanks.

just look them up on eBay under cherokee clear corners. You'll find them, I did.

Don't forget to get amber bulbs for them if you get the clear, in order to stay in compliance with DoT regs...

Just curious - why is there so much interest in the clear corners and tails anyhow? Maybe it's just me, but I don't think they look all that great (I didn't think they looked great before they got popular, to be honest,) and I'm tired of people putting in clear corners and such, but not putting in coloured bulbs (leaving me to decide what that white light is supposed to mean... Come on now, honestly - I'm tired of doing all the thinking on the roadways out here, since no-one else obviously is... Is it just me?)

If you do score clear corners (I'm assuming you're talking about up front, outboard of the headlamps?) I'd like to talk to you about securing the amber ones you should suddenly have no need for... One of my XJ's is a working truck, and I'm forevermore needing corners, running lights, and taillamp assemblies... I've usually got at least a pair hanging on the wall at any give time!

I prefer anti-bling. Smoked would be cool.

I'd like to go matte full-on blackout (would complement the planned OD paintjob neatly, I think...) but we'd still have to figure out how to get them to light up amber or red (or even white!)

I've also been thinking about getting something like a 1/2"-3/4" deep honeycomb and painting it flat black, then affixing it to the headlamp retaining rings somehow (sort of like the anti-glare shields on military riflescopes, spotting scopes, and some binoculars...) You'll only get any sort of glare if you're looking STRAIGHT INTO the lense - but from outside a 15* arc or so, just flat black. I'll have to look for the stuff, and then sort out how to do the rest myself...
