After installing a remote starter in my 1995 Cherokee, the brake/shift interlock does not work. I had the dealer install it in June(as it was a recall from 97 and the previous owner never had it added), so it was infact working (you had to step on the brake to shift out of park)
Well after hooking up the remote starter today, that feature is missing. The only thing I messed with, which had to do with the brake, were the brake wires.....I connected both of the grey wires from the brake switch to the brake input on the remote starter....
Any ideas on what I did to disable the brake/shift interlock? Thanks!
By the way, the remote starter is a Micro STARTNR2.
