Its just a way to have a quick look at a list of users that are SoCal users. The group is a way of grouping user names/profiles together and is not there to replace but rather augment the SoCal Chapter forum

We've lost half of the Costa Mesa group. Southwest Chuck and MJR have both drifted off into the sunset. :)

What I still don't get is this "Friends" thing. I got an e-mail last night saying that Remi wanted me to be his friend.

I feel funny asking someone to be my friend. Kinda like Mister Rogers.

hmm followed the link and there was a button that said "Join group" or something like that. I wonder if forum users don't have that as a feature and it's available only to the members.
