Blower Motor Fan/Squirrel Cage (97+)

Anybody know how to get these suckers off the blower motor? I searched and found nothing. The 96- cages just have a small clamp you remove and you pull it off. The 97+ cage has nothing extra holding it to blower motor spindel as far as I can tell. I tried pulling it straight off but it wouldnt give.

on my 90 it took alot of prying and the use of wd-40. but do it gently.

get some scotch bright and really smooth the shaft,use blaster and have a buddy hold the assy up by the cage. use a hammer and punch, hit the shaft and it will fall off. it mite have a set screw. never pry it off cause it will bend them and make noise
