87-90 Heater control valve help

I was wondering if anyone has pics of there closed system heater control valve routing. I'm doing work on a friend 88 XJ and the previous onwer did us no favors. Anyhow the whole thing is jimmy rigged and I'm trying to straighten it all out for him. I did the open system upgrade so low ago that I can't remember the correct routing. Any pics or diagrams would be great. Thanks.

Thanks! Now I see why I was confused. The thing broke next to the actual valve itself and the PO just reconnected the hose to the heater core leave the "T" still intact.
