ok last couple of day i have had a little loss of power from time to time and now this afternoon i almost dident make it home. i cant get this jeep to run right pops and noises are coming from it plus no power it sputers and shakes at idle up to about 3000 rpm then will smooth out and climb fast. i replaced most of the sensers on it and made no difference to it at all.

Throttle position sensor is my bet if you haven't changed it.

Does it change with throttle position? I had a cracked fuel line INSIDE my fuel tank, so it couldn't hold fuel pressure under heavy engine load. Worked so so at little throttle, fell on it's face under full throttle.

For some reason when I look at places like Cars.com or autotrader.com and do a national search for yellow cherokees the only ones that ever come up are 01s. I have never seen an older one on any national sales site.

RATTLE CAN JOBS SUCK!

That being said, I'm currently brewing a custom yellow-orange from 2 different colors of Rust-Oleum Protective Enamel. Available by the quart from your friendly neighborhood WalMart. It is literally spray paint - the same product they sell in rattle cans, but in a quart can instead. $22.50 for enough to do my POS XJ.

Where were you on the 4 occassions I had my t-case out and torn down, both times I had my axles out, ARB torn apart, regear, complete interior torn out and upgraded, new complete wiring harness for a complete power accessory upgrade from manual windows, locks and overhead console install on 2 different XJ's????????????????????? :moon:
