Injector clips

I just put my exhaust/intake back on and ran around tonight washing my junk and swung by work. After getting home I noticed I never put the clips back on the injectors. I lost 2 when I took them off. I have no leaks and it is running great. How important are those doodads ? I'll eventually put them back on when I track down a couple more. Am I pushing my luck not clippin them in right now.

The clips hold the pressurized injector assembly together. Do you think that's something you should risk leaving available to leaks directly over your exhaust manifold?

Replace them as soon as possible.

No probably not, but the way the fuel rail sits it is almost impossible for the injectors to go anywhere. I'll put them back on tomorrow. :idea: I have an old engine I can rob the 2 missing ones from.
