Has anyone seen this? Common knowledge proves this to be impossible. So what’s going on here? How did this happen? I’m so confused and excited at the same time.

wow i saw 4:88s in a d30 one time, and i dont know how they stood up to any abuse. the pinion head was literally the size of a quarter. a 5:38 would be rediculous

I've got 4:88 gears in my D30 and while small the pinion is quite a bit larger than a quarter.

I've seen as many or more 4.56 d30 gears break as I have 4.88's.

i bet the pinion gear for my r/c crawler axles is bigger than that lol. and i was concerned my 4.11 pinion gear was small, but 5.38 for a 30 is just retarded.

The 4.56s are probubly 2-3x more common.

Is there a specific carrier for 4.88's? I could have sworn there was something different about it... maybe that is why it's stronger?
