First off, I've searched for the last week, and have found good info, but most of that info came from as old as 2004, and dealt with 3-4.5" lifts...

I anyone is running a similar setup, and wishes to identify troublesome issues and how/why fixes, I'd love to hear about it.

I know I'll need to bumpstop, adjust steering stops, and cut/pound inside the wheel wells, but, any pictures specific to those things would be most appriciative.

desertmetal on 33s, no lift.

cut cut.

My bro used to run 33x10.5's on about 3 inches. There was little trimming, but bumpstops are a MUST if you don't wanna chunk your tires or smash metal. Here's a pic. decent flex and front sway still in...

Making it fit up front;
I had to trim about 1" off the front wheel wells... all around.
Inside the wheel well I had the roll the weld seam over flat with Mr. Ball peen.
I'm running 2 hockey pucks per side as bump stop extensions on the axle spring perches.
I had to buy longer steering stop bolts.

Making it fit out back;
I had to trim from the bottom of the wheel well about 1", and feathered it in over about 3" in front of the tire, and feathered it out over about 6" behind the tire.

It still flexes really well. No bump stops were needed out back, and, the newly added KOR track bar more than makes up for bumpstopping with the huge amount of droop it allows. On a 23* ramp, I can get the rear tire about 8" away from starting up the ramp. I don't know, but, that is probably getting into the 900's for the RTI folks.

Had it out for a shake down run yesterday... the rig worked flawlessly.

by the looks off those tires they are more like a 32..those things are bald as hell

Kentucky,
the tires are just a tad over 33"... they have about 150 miles on them, about 70 in the dirt. check out the links to full size photos.
They were installed 2 days ago.

tdogg,
with the 3.5 RE sf kit, 642 does not sound right... ?
you are disconnected front and rear right? If so, odd...
The 2" OME with stock control arms is pretty well documented to ramp high 800's, low 900's.

bob,
I am running OME 2" lift, boosted with a spacer up front, and a shackle out back.
With 12.5's you may need aftermarket wheels, or more trimming, or... both. I don't know for certain.
Thanks for the compliment.

I think I'll put it on the ramp tomorrow, and get a closer tread shot for the folks speculating, and for others reference.

Whoops... RTI = ~805.

Just realized the proper measurement is from the center of the hub, to the leading edge of the ramp...
