I guess it's going to be an indoor type weekend (I live in the far Southeast section of Pennsylvania, right next to DE and NJ):

Yup....center of that thing is supposed to come right through Charlotte if it stays on it's current track.
I sure was glad to have my Jeep last week when what was left of Fay came through and dumped 7" of rain in a day. Was awful hard to find a road in Charlotte that wasn't partially under water.
Here's what the soccer field right behind my apartment looked like from about 4 inches of that rain that fell in a couple hour's time. We got about 3" more overnight that night, and while I didn't get a chance to go see it I heard from others that it was a lot higher the next morning.

Sure am glad I live on the top of the hill, and on the 2nd floor of my building for that matter. On the upside, our drought for this year is pretty much gone. On the downside, I dont think we can take that much more rain again so soon after the last storm.

Got snorkle?
Stock up on some emergency supplies and gas for the generator.

when it gets there, do me a favor and fire up the air compressor. See if you can blow it a little farther west before it turns NEast again. I'm in SEast VA and would love to see it loop around us!! I'm less than 200 yards from the water and getting closer everytime one of these things comes through:bawl:
I'll be dead and gone before the beach is at my front door, but I still like to have enough left to run the dogs every now and then....

Looks like it's shifting more and more away from us.
