I love this time of year almost as much as June-July when the first raspberries and blueberries come into season.

Right now I'm munching on blue globe grapes produced in Southern Ontario. I haven't seen the large ones in the stores yet. This is the first time I've had the small variety. Tasty!

Back home in NF the bakeapple season is just about done I'd expect (translation: bakeapples = tundra cloud berries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_berry)). I need to get some relatives to send some up. I love bakeapples, probably my favourite berry behind raspberries.

What's in season in your area that you really enjoy?

Yum.

We've been eating cucumbers and beans off the vine from our little garden most of the summer.

It's all part of the master plan - we're invading.
