revolving shackle, pros and cons

for those running or have run revolving shackles what would be the pros and cons of having them.

im interested in buying some but the though of them unloading somewere off-camber keeps crosing my mind.

or would i be better off making a new shackle box because i have the materials to do that???

i like them but you will need longer springs for any lift becuase they offer none

Yup, you got it. Also see what kind of fun it is when they dig into a tree root or log while you're reversing. They hang down just enough to grab what you might want to slide over. IMHO a 1"-1.5" shackle is just right to not interfere. The unloading on downhills and off-camber spots is scary. :shhh:
